- The keypad lights up but the gate doesn’t move. The keypad may still be sending a signal, but the control board isn’t acting on it. That’s often a board-level fault, not a keypad fault, which is exactly why we test the whole chain before selling you a part.
- The intercom buzzes but voice only works one direction, or sounds like static. Malibu humidity and salt fog corrode the wiring terminals inside the post. We’ve pulled intercom modules where the wires had turned green and crumbly half an inch before the connector.
