Unless the previous person stripped the cam lock screw trying to muscle it, in which case we’ll weld on a new cam and set it properly.
• Battery backup failure on Linear’s 24V DC swing operators. The Linear 24-volt DC swing operators with battery backup are popular in Malibu because of Pacific Coast Highway’s power dips. But the batteries age out in three to five years, and when they fail the gate goes dead whenever the power blinks.
